About Me

I am Vanessa, Wild Running Horse, Regather, Vetnessa, and Mom of three boys. I have a knack for seeing things through a camera. I am a cowgirl at heart. I started taking photos as part of my job years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. My then boss, "Doc" who had a great eye and a fabulous camera, told me I had to ease up with any hands on work with the horses for safety. He handed me his camera to start taking AQHA Registration pictures of foals... hundreds of them. Shortly after that project, taking pictures became a pastime hobby. Over the years, people started complimenting me on my pictures and I was THRILLED that they also enjoyed them. It really made me feel good. I always find myself not wanting to put the camera down. My kids complain because I take so many photos of them so, in order not to burn my models out, I have decided to branch out a little. After more than 43 years of experiencing life, I decided to put even more energy into capturing pictures. I am just doing what I love. I am currently located in Southwest Missouri but I travel through Texas and Oklahoma frequently.
